An annual award celebrating all-round excellence in our current student body across all year groups.
Purpose: To reward sustained achievement and contribution to the school community throughout the academic year.
Eligibility: All current DSI students nominated by their teachers.
Selection Criteria: Excellence across three key domains:
Academic Performance: High academic grades, with specific thresholds for each year group (e.g., 2A*3A for G7-8, IBDP 36+ points for G11-12).
Leadership & Service: Demonstrated commitment through student council, committees, community service, and other co-curricular activities.
Personal Conduct: Exemplary behaviour, serving as a positive role model with an 'Excellent' conduct grade.
Award Hierarchy:
High Achiever Award (HAA): Awarded to all students who meet the high academic threshold.
Outstanding Student Award (OSA): Selected from the HAA recipients; includes a scholarship of RMB 30,000 and a medal.
Peak of Excellence (POE) / Valedictorian: The top all-round student in each year (G7-11 receives POE, G12 receives Valedictorian), awarded RMB 50,000.
