As part of the Desheng Summer School, the DSI Masterclass invites world-renowned scholars to deliver intensive, university-style seminars to academically able senior students. Past Masterclasses have been led by Nobel Laureate Professor Thomas Südhof (Physiology or Medicine, 2013), Professor David Cardwell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Superconducting Engineering at the University of Cambridge, Professor Claudiu Girolami of Cambridge, and faculty from the University of Oxford. These sessions expose students to cutting-edge research and scholarly discourse across the sciences, humanities and social sciences, reflecting the school's commitment to providing access to globally significant academic resources within an immersive international school environment.
