DSI successfully concluded its Summer School 2026 with a six-day Cambridge Masterclass led by Professor Michaël De Volder, Tenured Professor of Nano-Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge.
The programme brought together outstanding students from across the Greater Bay Area to explore advanced concepts in nanotechnology and battery engineering. Emphasis was placed on inquiry-based learning, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application.
During the Closing Ceremony, students presented their research findings and received certificates from Professor De Volder. The Professor was also presented with a piece of Cantonese Embroidery (Guangxiu) as a token of appreciation.
Since its inception in 2023, the DSI Summer School has served as a platform for students to engage with world-class academics. Alumni of the programme have progressed to leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London and top universities in the world.
