Teachers' Day Celebration

A series of Teachers' Day activities took place throughout the week to honour and celebrate our dedicated teachers. The celebration kicked off with a whole-school assembly on Tuesday. Students presented teachers with 201 handmade appreciation cards created at the DIY station, each filled with sincere messages of gratitude. The "Guess the Teacher" and lucky draw activities brought laughter and warmth to the hall, with both teachers and students enjoying the festive atmosphere.

The highlight of the assembly was the presentation of the Most Caring Teacher Award and the Most Inspiring Teacher Award. The Most Caring Teacher Award is given to a teacher who is kind, generous and supportive not only of students but also of other teachers, and even parents and the school community in general. This teacher is a humane person and is aware of the needs of others and takes actions in order to provide help or/and address problems and issues. The awardees for Academic Year 2025 are Ms Lydia Zhang and Ms Spring Fan. The Most Inspiring Teacher Award is given to a teacher who serves as a role model in almost all aspects of being a lifelong learner and a professional who contributes to the development of students and colleagues. Students, colleagues, and the school community look up to this teacher since she/he continuously motivates students and colleagues to improve their knowledge of the academic subject(s) and promotes a language learning environment. The awardees for Academic Year 2025 are Ms Jen Liu and Ms Joanna Jia.

The Parent Support Group (PSG) also showed their gratitude by gifting an air fryer to all teachers — a warm and practical surprise. On Teachers' Day itself, the school prepared hand cream, lip balm, and throat lozenges for our teachers, adding a thoughtful touch to the celebration.E3AAF31F-DBCF-4AD5-923B-190327A2D728大.jpegDSC00131大.jpegDSC09000大.jpeg
